Is it permissible to eat prayer offerings by people of other religions (e.g. prasad from Hindus and Sikhs, bread from Christians)?

The foundation of everything in Islam, is the worship of only one God, Allāh.
When one is aware, that someone has invoked other than the name of Allāh on food, it is advisable for the practicing Muslim to abstain from it, as this entails a practice against tawḥīd (worship and prayer to only Allāh). (See: Qurʾān: 6:121)
It must be noted that the Muslim’s relation and interaction with non-Muslims, should be one of respect, honesty and peace. One can respectfully decline any matter that goes against one’s religion without offending or hurting another.
