What is the ruling of covering the head while eating?

Covering the head while eating is a good act in general since the Prophet Muḥammad (peace and blessings be upon him) usually wore some kind of headwear (kūfī/ turban) most of the times. However, there is no objection or negative religious implication, in eating while the head is uncovered. – (See: Al-Fatāwā Al-Hindīyyah, Volume 5, Page 337, Dār Al-Fikr)
