Question:
Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a Christian man? She will be keeping and following lslam still after marriage.
Answer:
In the name of God, Most Merciful and Most Compassionate
In a democratic world, one can marry anyone. However, a Muslim woman wishing to abide by the Qurʿān will not marry but a Muslim man.
God Almighty states in the Qurʿān,
“And give not [your daughters] in marriage to disbelievers until they believe [in God Alone] and verily, a believing slave is better than a disbelieving man, even though he pleases you.” (Qurʿān 2:221)
