Question:
I would like to participate in one share of a Qurbānī animal with others. Will this complete my required Qurbānī for ʿEīd Al-Aḍḥāʿ?

Jazāk Allāh Khayr/ Thank you for contacting Mathabah with your question.
Yes, it is permissible for [up to] a total of seven individuals to participate in a Qurbāni ritual animal sacrifice. This can be done in large animals such as a camel or a cow.
Only one share is acceptable in a sheep or goat.
“A sheep only covers one share [in Qurbāni] even if the sheep [or goat] is very big in size. Seven shares are possible in a cow and camel. All participants must intend the pleasure of God regardless if the purposes differ (such as Qurbānī or charity etc.). If any of the participants intend the meat only, this will result in it not being acceptable for any of them.” – (Al-Muḥīṭ Al-Burhānī)
Jābir Ibn ʿAbd Allāh (may God be pleased with him) narrates, “During the year of Ḥudaybiyyah [in the 6th year after migration] we, along with God’s Messenger (peace and blessings upon him), sacrificed a camel for seven persons and a cow for seven persons.” – (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
