The Search for the Lost
As the crescent of Shawwāl is sighted, many soldiers [of worship and obedience] are lost and missing.
They were last seen on ʿEīd Al-Fiṭr day. Following the celebrations, they are no where to be found at the masājid. Their description is such that, by their walk and apparel, they appear to be Muslims. Individuals of all ages are included amongst the missing.
All the respected ʿUlamā and imāms of the town have announced the possible entrapment of these missing warriors [of worship]. The danger was sensed. It is highly possible that this luring and enticement has been plotted by the accursed devil, in whose hit-list, include many new and weak soldiers.
Therefore, those who find the lost soldiers of the blessed month of Ramaḍān, are kindly requested to undertake the trouble of dropping them off to the nearest masjid. You will – In-shā Allāh – attain a very great reward from Almighty Allāh.
A Plea to the Lost Soldiers
Respected soldiers, wherever you may be, kindly enter the masjids immediately upon hearing the adhān (call for prayer). Other soldiers will not reprimand you upon your return. The ablution stations are restless to see you. The ṣaffs (rows) of the masjid are awaiting you. The masjid seems to be silent without you.
Alas, where are those individuals who were to be seen in the blessed month of Ramaḍān and now are not even spotted. It is most definite that the wretched devil has lured them into his trap. Your local masjid has become impatient for your return. The muaddhin (one who calls the adhān) is calling for your return five times a day with a painful cry.
For the sake of the Almighty, upon hearing this bulletin, please hasten towards the masjid.
