Yes, it is permissible to name a boy Ḥaseeb Aḥmed.
Ḥasīb (or Ḥaseeb) means a noble man, a person who keeps count, an auditor, an accountant. This is a permissible name since there is no detestable meaning to it.
One should not get confused with Allāh’s name “Al-Ḥasīb” which is exclusive to the Almighty. It means, “The Reckoner, the Almighty”. One can use this name for a boy with the prefix ‘Abd’ so the name would be “’Abd Al-Ḥasīb” meaning the slave of the Reckoner.
Aḥmad is one of the names of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meaning the ‘one who praises the Almighty’. It is in fact encouraged and also a means of blessings to name boys after the name of the Prophet Muḥammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Name yourselves after me, but do not call yourselves by my kuniya.” – (Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhārī 3538)[1]
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “On the Day of Resurrection you will be called by your names and by your father’s names, so give yourselves good names [with good meanings].” – Abū Dāwūd 4948[2]
