Virtues of Makkah

The translation and publication of this succinct collection of 40 narrations on ‘The Virtues of Makkah’ is compiled by one of the foremost judges, Islamic jurists, lovers of the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him), and spiritual scholars of the recent-past; Imam Yusuf al-Nabahani (may Allah’s mercy be with him). Set in English translation with accompanying vocalized Arabic script and colour images, this book includes sections on the Ka’abah, Zam Zam, the Standing Place of Abraham (Maqam Ibrahim), the Black Stone and the virtues of praying in the three sacred mosques. The purpose of this book is to remind the readers of the lofty status of Makkah and to create a knowledge-based, emotional connection to it, especially for those setting out on ‘Umrah and Hajj.
