Islamic Foundations

Overview

The Islamic Essentials program delivers theoretical and practical understanding of the fundamental teachings of Islam. It equips students with the basic knowledge and training required for higher Islamic learning.

Course Objective

  • To provide students with the foundational knowledge of Islam and to teach them how to apply it in their social context.
  • To demonstrate how this knowledge is essential for higher Islamic Learning and draw the connection between the two

Learning Outcome

  • Students will have a different perspective on life and its goals
  • They will have greater confidence in Islam
  • They will become more motivated to gain Allah’s proximity
