Question:
I have got a job based on a fake degree and fake certificates. I have the skills and ability to do the job. I do the job competently and carry out my duties properly in the job. The job in and of itself is ḥalāl. Is my salary, which I get from this job, ḥalāl or ḥarām?

Jazāk Allāh Khayr/ Thank you for contacting Mathabah Institute.
The matter of using false and or forged degrees and certificates is Islamically prohibited and also sinful. You should repent and never repeat such actions.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The one who is dishonest [and or cheats] is not following the practices of us Muslims.” – (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 189)
As far as your current work in your employment is concerned, if your employer is content with it and accordingly is paying you for the work, the salary is permissible (ḥalāl). – (See: Al-Baḥr Al-Rāiq, Vol 8, Page 22, Dār Al-Kitāb, Al-Natf Fi-Al-Fatāwā Vol 2, Page 559, Dār Al-Furqān)
